Bandinfo:

Back in 1980 the Kremlin Command Post discovered western subversive youth movement the first time as useful in terms of infiltration, animation and kidnapptation of youngsters.
Since then the K.G.B. achieves this goal through brainwash their audience all over Europe into obedient servants of the hidden evil and can be called one of the eldest still active german punk-bands. K.G.B. stands for "KEIN GRUND ZUR BERUHIGUNG", in english roughly: "No Reason Not To Panic". From this early period dates the rare, shrill colored EP "Donald Duck in Pentagon" with four tracks. A couple of other 7"-es followed before in early 1987 their debut - album was issued on Hardway Records, California, supporting their first US-tour from coast to coast together with their long-time-friends from "Toxic Reasons", Indianapolis.
Two more albums, two video-productions and a couple of TV - appearances, countless shows in Europe, a showcase as the first german band on the WDR-Rock-Night and another US - tour followed before the band split in early 1991.

1994 Hannes Koerber tried to hold the duck-skull-flag high again and struggled on with new musicians. Going along with the 1995-album "Restmuell" he lined up another European - tour with Toxic Reasons through seven countries. Since it is everything but easy to find constant musicians in a small south-german town he produced his 1997 - album "KRAUT GRINGO BLITZKRIEG" 14 tracks with his friends in Indianapolis, including J.J., Tufty and Bruce from "T.R.", Mark Cutzinger and Vezz from the "Zero Boys" and Big Danny Thompson, ex - "Sloppy Seconds". Before this line-up went on tour in Germany he released a spontaneous quicky MCD/7" called "DIE LADY DI" together with his studio - friend Roman Schoensee (ex - "Pyogenesis") who is kind of a K.G.B. - member in the background since `95. Ten of Hannes' song - lyrics are published by Karin Fischer in a poetry anthology.

Undergoing even more changes in our line-up, the brand new fuckin´ Millenium sees a totally renewed KGB rising from the perils of rock ´n roll decadence (!) featuring:

HANNES KOERBER (alive & kickin´), Vocals
FOTZER (former Torpedo Moskau, SS Ultrabrutal, Ramonez ´77), Drums
SQUID (former The Brats, Blanc Estoc), Bass
JOEY SILVERPLANET (former Dead Facts, Teenage Love Machine), Guitars

Since the beginning KGB's headquarter is a former police-station in Tuebingen (South-Germany), squatted in 1978, where over the years numerous bands had a place to stay on their way through. They keep on going their independant way against the tide with political cynicism as well as LOADS OF FUN and PURE FILTHY RAWK `N ROLL !
